MICK'S LINKS

Have created a new site that makes an excellent homepage. It is a portal full of links to my often used sites. If you right click on a link you can open a site in a new tab, enabling you to close the window and return to your portal.

Please post any suggestions for links you would like on the portal.

continuations..................

well.... after a very long time in waiting it has finally happened........ transformation begins.. I caught up with our builder on the weekend to check out the progress on our property.

Despite the relentless rain the footings have gone in and we are ready for the rammed earth contractor who is booked to start this wednesday.. you can see the slab that the rammed earth wall will sit on in the above picture.

The above picture is our driveway and carport. The builder and I are up the back standing on what will be our bedroom.

Another shot of the work in progress. all the work is horizontal at the moment but I am told within 1.5 weeks there will be no less than four carpenters working on site most days...

ash was out of the starting gates very fast, i distinctly remember him yelling out, "c'mon guys lets do it! Its going to be a night to remember". so i buckled in and got ready to launch outa here. about an hour later still in position and ready for take off we wondered where ash was....

Angus Galloway RIP

DJ Bribe passed away in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.

Angus was one of three DJ's that tore up the scene from the late 80's, he was resident DJ at the Beat and every Friday and Saturday we use to get down to the Beat to watch him cast his spell over his mesmerized soldiers on the dance floor.

The three thing I remember most about Angus were his scratching abilities.

The support he received from the home crowd when international DJ's were in town were on par to the support Wally use to get from the Lang Park faithful.

Finally and the most important Angus was very politically correct well before the term was ever used, he always stood up for the minority or persecuted.

Angus's funeral will be held at Wednesday Centennial Memorial Gardens at Sumner - 10.00am

The wake will be held at Alumbra bar in the Valley from 2.00pm to 7.00pm with Angus's favorite DJ, KJ playing all of Angus's favorite tunes.

Angus's parents would like to gather any photo's possible of Angus, so if you have any, email them to me and I will make sure Graeme and Bobbie get them.

Thank you.

OZ Day in Guate

Well I know I´m a bit late, but I had the best Oz day ever this year so I thought I better put some pics up for you to see how we did it Guatemala style. You have the cricket team, people dressed uplike something Oz, the flag we painted ourselves...and what aussie day would be complete with out doing body shots off a hot chick lying on the bar wearing only the aussie flag? (there were hot blokes lying on bar as well, but only room for so many photos)
