Agents flee Colombia

Update on Agents Jane and Shagga: Current Location : Panama

Well it was never going to be easy leaving Colombia so we tried to ease ourselves out of there by doing a 5 day sailing trip up to the magnificent San Blas islands through the Caribbean to Panama. These random photos are of Jane trying to drown me on one of the islands. We were left by the sailboat on an island and some Kuna indians (indegenous people to Panama) took us to the mainland. We travelled for about an hour upriver in a dugout through jungle, seeing alligators and iguanas, only to get left in the middle of nowhere in a national park with only a mud track out of there. Luckily the Kuna are some of the friendliest people we´ve met and they organised for a car to come and get us. (3 hours later). All good until we got stuck in the mud. I swear I thought the engine on that car was going to explode as the driver made us jump up and down in the back to try and get traction and get out of there. Eventually another car came along and pulled us out. Now in Panama City. Saw the Panama Canal today - huge boats going through the locks- pretty impressive. Next stop for me Guatemala (via 4 countries - 4 days on a bus - it will be hell) and for Jane its Europe.. watch out european agents - she´s in good form.

Howdy Fixers

Some may know some may not but I have recently moved over the border to Tweed Heads and as of 5 mins ago I have my own internet account and geez it feels great to be back online. I tend to spend most my time at the PokerDome at Seagulls at Tweed working and playing cash poker tournaments. Hence the reasoning for moving to NSW as cash poker games are illegal in QLD. So please no NSW jokes, I know they all suck.

So what festivals are all you mutants planning on seeing this festive season, I am going to BBQ Breaks on New Years Day after Mick Lenzy's New Years Party.

Just been on a hilarious skype conference call with Bluey and Sal for the last hour they both sent me a couple of photos to put on the fix Bluey with all his porn star mates growing facial hair for Movember, well done lads all going to a good cause, and a picture that we are all pretty familiar with and I am sure we will see plenty more leading up to the wedding.

Well I hade more to put up on the fix tonight but have got a bit drunk talking to Bluey and Sal, so must go. Bluey is about to start contributing to the fix so now know one is safe.

Melbourne Cup Predictions

Recent history confirms that the winner is invariably the horse who has performed outstandingly in its final lead-up run. They don’t come off last start failures. You might get longshot placegetters but remember there hasn’t been a winner beyond 20/1 since Tawrrific in 1989.

Every one of the past 15 Cup winners has emerged from a strong last start effort. Nine were last start winners. Ten of the 15 have come through the Caulfield Cup and four have completed the double which makes it hardly unusual in the modern era.

1st Purple Moon ---------$10
2nd Master O'Reilly-----$5.50
3rd Eskimo Queen-------$21
4th Sculptor--------------$31
